About Noah's Ark
Noah’s Ark is a not-for-profit organisation providing Early Childhood Intervention and inclusion support services to children with disabilities and additional needs.
We are seeking applications from individuals who are interested in working as a KIS Additional Assistant in the region's local kindergartens as a member of the KIS program.
About the position
As a KIS Assistant your role will support the Kindergarten’s teaching staff to provide an environment that is responsive to the individual strengths, abilities, and interests of all children, including those with a disability, additional support needs and/or complex medical needs.
This is a fantastic opportunity for someone who is passionate about making a difference in the lives of children within the community and having the flexibility of working casual hours.
Skills and experience relevant to the position:
- Ability to develop relationships with children that are supportive and responsive to their individual needs.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively as part of a team
- Understanding of and commitment to maintaining confidentiality and privacy
- Demonstrated ability to relate to others with kindness, respect, and positivity.
Demonstrated experience working with preschool children and/or in a preschool setting would be an advantage.

This is a casual position. Hourly wage is approximately $27.84 per hour plus 25% casual loading.
